If the VW2106 will not turn on and the batteries are in good condition, it is possible that the low power capacitor must be discharged to turn on or display properly.

 

Here are the steps:


- Open the battery cover and remove the batteries from the holder.

- Insert a 6.00” (150mm) rod or sockets as in the photo below and replace the cover.

- Wait for a couple seconds and remove the cover and put the batteries back in.A picture containing person, hand

Turn on the VW2106 and it should start, and the piezometer B Units and Temperature should be displayed.

As an alternative to the steel rod, installing small sockets with a length of 150mm (6. 0 Inches) will also work to discharge the capacitor.
