VWP Short Circuit Test
To check if the wires in a VWP are shorted, follow the instructions below.
- Bundle the Red, Black, Green, White wire and connect to Red meter probe
- Connect Shield/ Gnd wire to Black meter probe
- Meter must read O.L
- Other readings may indicate faults
- Confirm correct connections and meter settings
- Connect Red and Black wire to Red meter probe
- Connect White and Green wire to Black meter probe
- Ensure Shield/ Gnd wire does not connect anything.
- Meter must read O.L
- Other readings may indicate faults
- Confirm correct connections and meter settings
