How to update the Campbell Scientific Data Logger Operating System
Connect a PC with the Data Logger via USB Cable. Open LoggerNet / Utilities and Device Config Utility
Select the type of datalogger to update the OS, e.g., CR6
Connection Type = Direct
Select the COM1 from the Communication Port if the PC is using COM1 to connect with Datalogger via USB.
Enter the Pakbus Encryption Key
Specify Pakbus address = Select the Pakbus address of the DataLogger.
Or uncheck the Specify Pakbus Address option if it is not known. Then, select Connect and Bypass option.
The datalogger will be detected and a message below will show up.
Then, in Manage OS, the current and latest OS version will be compared. If the current OS is not up to date, it will show the Update Available version, e.g., V12.
Click on Update to start the update process.
After the update is done, the message below will show up.
Click OK to finish.
